AG Neovo Warranty Policy
 

For LCD Display For Digital Photo Frame For Accessories



For LCD Display-
AG Neovo Technology B.V. warrants its LCD Displays have a warranty period of 36 months calculated from the invoice date.


What the warranty covers:
  1. AG Neovo warrants its Display Products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions for a period of 36 months from the original receipt date or manufacturing date on the model label.
  2. With Respect To LCD Display Pixel Quality
Inspection of the defective display pixels must be performed using a black screen. A dot defect is defined as: 0.15mm diameter 0.3mm.
A maximum of 3 bright pixels or 3 dark pixels is allowed in an LCD panel; the total number of dark and bright pixels should not exceed 3 pixels for the whole area.
  3. AG Neovo offers an 8-day DOA ('Dead On Arrival') replacement policy: the customer has the right to exchange the defective Product within the specified DOA-period, provided they present the defective Product together with the original purchase order at the original purchase store.


What the warranty does not cover:
  1. a. Products on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed;
    b. Products, which are not accompanied by a copy of the original invoice or where information on the original invoice has been altered or erased in any manner whatsoever.
  2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
    a. Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water/liquids, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the Products.
    b Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by AG Neovo.
    c. Any damage to the Products due to shipment.
    d. Removal or installation of the Products.
    e. External causes affecting the Products, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
    f. Use of supplies or parts not meeting the specifications of AG Neovo.
    g. Normal wears and tear.
    h. Any other cause, which does not relate to a Product defect.
    i. Damage to, or abuse of, the coating on the surface of the display.
    j. Scratched or broken panel.
    k. Cracked Printed Circuit Board or abused housing and/or base.
    l. Exposure to an excessively dusty and/or humid environment.
    m. Because the LCD panel is the liquid crystal type, damage caused by static (non-moving) images displayed for lengthy periods of time (also referred to as "burn-in").


Service Levels:
  1. AG Neovo has three service levels:
(i) Swap
(ii) Pick-up & Return
(iii) Carry In
These levels can differ for different countries. The applicable service level will be determined by the country in which the Product is purchased and the condition the monitor is in. Please check our website for information regarding the service levels available in your specific country.
  2. Products with a defect covered under this warranty which are also damaged in any sense, have missing parts (such as adapters, cables and software) or are engraved or labelled, will only be serviced on a Pick-Up & Return or Carry In basis and the customer shall have to pay any extra costs if applicable.
  3. Products with a defect which is not covered under this warranty will be repaired upon request at the customer’s own expense.
  4. Products covered by our warranty but which are beyond economical repair may be replaced by a refurbished unit or an upgrade. The upgrade will be of the same size but might be a different model with similar features or if no such upgrade is available the upgrade might be a larger size display of the same model.
  5. If the defect is not covered under the Warranty Conditions, including no fault found, the customer shall have to pay the transportation cost and the costs of inspection or repair of the Product, including all time and parts spent.


General Conditions:
  1. AG Neovo will repair or replace Products covered under the Warranty Conditions. To request service under Warranty Conditions, the customer must - promptly upon discovery of a defect within the warranty period - call AG Neovo’s customer technical support. The telephone number can be found on the website of AG Neovo. Please keep the original receipt to prove the purchase of the Product.
  2. If service under Warranty Conditions is required, the local service centre of AG Neovo will issue a "return material authorization number" (hereinafter: "RMA number"). The customer must write the RMA number on the package of the Product, so it can be read from a distance of at least 1 meter. Packages without a RMA number will be refused and sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.
  3. The customer has to send the Product including a copy of the original receipt to the local service centre of AG Neovo. AG Neovo shall not provide any service under Warranty Conditions if the customer does not provide (a copy of) the original receipt.
  4. The Product must be packed in the original packaging. A customer who does not have the original packaging (or in the case of damaged packaging) can ask the local service centre of AG Neovo for new packaging material and will have to bear the cost of the new packaging material. A customer who fails to pack the Product with the correct packaging, will be responsible for risk, loss or damage during shipment/transportation.
  5. AG Neovo is not responsible for items which are added to the packaging of the Product and which are not part of the Product. AG Neovo will not return these items to the customer.
  6. The customer is responsible for having the Product packed (as stated above) before the courier arrives to pick up the defective Product. The customer will have to pay any costs if the courier has to wait. If the Product cannot be delivered to the customer and it has to be routed again, the customer shall have to pay the extra costs of delivery.
  7. AG Neovo reserves the right to send a whole replacement Product or a replacement for parts of the Product rather than repairing and returning the Product that was sent for repair. A replacement Product is subject to AG Neovo's "display standard quality for Europe ruling".
  8. AG Neovo will not be liable for lost profits, loss of business or other loss or damage relating in any way to Products or services, whether direct or consequential, or for any claim by any third party.
  9. Any unit or part, which has been replaced, shall become the property of AG Neovo. AG Neovo uses new parts made by various manufacturers in performing repair under Warranty Conditions. AG Neovo repairs or replaces a Product. The warranty period for repaired Products or replacement parts shall expire at the same date as the warranty for the Product, which is subject to the original purchase.
  10. The warranty is only valid in respect of Products of AG Neovo purchased in Europe from authorized dealers of AG Neovo.
  11. There are no other express or implied warranties, whether written or oral, other than these Warranty Conditions.

For Digital Photo Frame-
AG Neovo Technology B.V. warrants its Digital Photo Frame have a warranty period of 12 months limited calculated from the invoice date.


What the warranty covers:

  2. A maximum of 2 bright pixels or 3 dark pixels are allowed in LCD panel; the total number of dark and bright pixel should not exceed 4 pixels for whole area.
